124 <- Honestly, if I were your friend? I wouldn't blame you. Season 1 was awesome, season 2 was generally good, season 3 was overall rather 'meh'. Season 4 has been very up and down, but more or less, is overall kicking ass, although I'm anxious as to how they're going to end it. TL;DR? I sympathise, and I've watched every episode from the first.

152 <- Very much yes. By most Christian standards (which the show plays loose with, admittedly, but still roughly goes by) that body was vacant and is no longer the property of the original occupant. The original soul has gone off to heaven/hell/wherever; nothing wrong with Ruby borrowing it.

A demon using a corpse as a puppet, oh yeah, the Christians would be all over that!

But that's okay, with the way this season's been, I forgot Ruby was a demon too.

I didn't say there was anything Christians should like about a demon borrowing the body; just reflecting that most of the "Ews" regarding Ruby taking the body seems to be over the fact it belonged to someone else whether they're dead or not. I'm just pointing out another reason why a soulless body oughtn't to be considered as horrific to possess (the obvious reason being that there isn't someone living alongside the possessor screaming to be let out).

It's not as horrific, but it's still a demon violating a dead body, and I always thought the "Ews" were over just that.

Not the apocalypse-minded bunch. When Jesus comes back he's supposed to bodily resurrect everyone in Heaven, and I can't imagine a good Christian soul being too happy about a demon having used her body while she was gone.

Mind, that isn't my ethics. I haven't seen the show, but I've never really understood why people get so hung up about respecting corpses. If you knew the person when they were alive and you're desperately clinging to whatever's left of them then, sure, that's one thing. But just as a general principle?
