109. It's really disappointing when you go to watch Red Dwarf and none of the jokes seem that funny because you've read them all before in a less funny context.

112. But there are so many fans who like this character that it's barely a secret. It's like men who fancy Johnny Depp. It's the worst-kept secret ever.

119. I think the Phantom's more twisted and thus more interesting. He probably ties up Christine and puts her in a wedding dress all made up, then rapes her. Raoul would just hug Christine, have gentle and loving sex... but be very boring in comparison.

Unfortunately, fandom tends to have it the other way around, which is why I've never bothered with it.

122. You mean her Honey 2 the B album? Mind you, if you put it on high-speed it's fantastic.

125. Yeah. I feel I shouldn't need to love a character simply because she's got a vagina. I go by the awesome factor rather than just "I love her because she's the only girl".

136. I ship it, though it's mostly because Sally Jupiter is messed up. And the Comedian is probably the only one who'd understand. It's kind of the closest thing to romance that the canon has, to be honest.

139. A Gilliam-directed Robin Williams would be fucking amazing as Rorschach.

143. LOL. I'd just go with the story bit, myself.

162. It's fandom. If you want something other than porn you have to search far and wide, sir.

Bubastis!Secret: Yeah, but it does represent a few problems the movie had with symbols that got cut. The Laurie-Dan dream was a bit WTF without the Hiroshima lovers bit, for example.

136. Isn't the Comedian and what he did to her a large part of why Sally is messed up? The difficulty of being a female hero in a world full of men with his attitude who simultaneously reward and punish women for their perceived sexual availibility is the thing she's struggled with so much, and he's the absolute worst of that.
