Re: Who is your least favorite film director

Agreed with Tim Burton, definitely! I only like his Batman movies, but I hate the rest of his films, and his whole aesthetic with a passion! It’s so petty on my part, but I really can’t stand him! It doesn’t help that I’ve had several friends in the past that were basically obsessed him and his movies when they were going through a goth phase, and one in particular that watched The Nightmare Before Christmas everyday until she finally got sick of it, and would constantly sing songs from it, and would refuse to stop when I was trying to focus on something or watch TV. We were already adults when she did this. So that didn’t help endear me to Tim Burton, even though that’s not his fault.

I don’t mind Wes Anderson, and I liked The Grand Budapest Hotel. But that’s the only one of his I’ve seen. And I understand that his style and aesthetic is definitely not for everyone.
