Well, "fandom" is probably a misnomer on my part. Really, I was thinking of series I like, that might not have fandoms per say. I read a fair amount of yuri-themed manga, like Aoi Hana, and have watched stuff that's popular with yuri crowds like the Mai series or Nanoha.

I don't ship based on gender, so if a yuri couple appeals to me, I'll go for it with gusto, but a lot of the time, the non-canon relationships between women that strike everyone else as romantic leave me kind of cold. (See: Nanoha and Fate, for example)

And those are my thoughts on femslash, I guess.
