139. Sure it just hasn't been hyped out for you? It really is funny - the humor lies in the clerk's insistence that the customer has not been defrauded, and the escalation of the situation to absurd heights.

That's very possible. For a long time in school friends of mine were like "OMG you have to SEE this" and one even gave me a transcript of the sketch, and I never "got" it, but I figured it was all about the delivery... and then when I finally sat down with it I ended up feeling sad for the poor mistreated parrot more than anything.

Some sketches are better than others, too - my favorite episode is "Owl-Stretching Time" (self-defense against fresh fruit! secret agent dentists!), but when they devote the entire episode to hot air balloons or a bicycle race, it kinda falls flat for me. And personal humor will play into it too - I love the Confuse-a-Cat Ltd. sketch, because "ha, cats don't give a damn"... but someone else might find it funny for different reasons ("all this fuss over a cat?") or not at all ("wtf just happened").

Heh, true.

No freaking kidding about WoW. Especially since MMORPGs have some of the highest ratio of female gamers.

Then again, people still don't believe you half the time if you claim to be a chick on an MMO, pix plz, webcam, etc. etc. ~~The irony is that if you play a female avatar, they'll hit on you before they even know you're actually a girl. And these men claim to be straight, yes.~~
