There's nothing wrong with being into slash for the pretty boys. It's just not why I read fic (primarily -- obvs I love porn as much as the next girl, but if I see two compatible people I don't care what gender they are and I find femal characters fun to explore). So it's a little hard for me to understand.

You've answered your own question. It's not why you read fic. Other people read fic for other reasons, as well as having different tastes.

I don't read femmeslash cause there are no women I'm interested in shipping together, primarily cause I am not into women, especially ona sexual level.

This makes me hypocritical why?

This stuff mostly comes from the "hardcore" set of male teenagers insecure about themselves. Sane FPS fans - sane fans generally - don't care what other people like, just what they do.
