117. Well, like others said, porn, straight women, rocks, getting off theireof. Plus, female characters in fandom, I am informed, are often less interesting than male characters and therefore it is only interesting to ~explore~ how guys would do each other in mindless PWPs.

I know that it will attract a certain kind of person that I don't want to discuss Star Trek with. I'd love to have the discussions I used to have with some friends who are astrophysicists and model geeks online, but there seem to be more OMGKIRKSOHOT kind of fans on LJ.
