Tell me about it. I replaced some windows recently. Expensive but worth it. Then right after I got a special property tax levy that will jack my mortgage up for the next six months, then another large, unexpected expense, plus a bunch if smaller things thst just HAD to happen right now... I can cover it but it will take a while to pay myself back to a point where I wont live in fear of another big ticket expense suddenly falling in my lap. I feel guilty about the windows, which is stupid. Windows are so expensive but the old ones were such utter crap. Sigh.
