That's also why I hate how found family started meaning shipping any of them is gross and bad and wrong because it's like incest. Baby queers themselves glomming onto found family and turning it into straight nuclear family dynamics with any deviation being "gross" is one of the most glaring examples of the new generation's subtle slow backwards creep into conservativism.

They might just be too "baby" to be yet comfortable with these aspects of queer identity and are reaching for what feels familiar (i.e. straight family dynamics).
