I also have personal experience with this, I had the hypersexual reaction too. And you know what? I don't regret it. After my abuse, I got to have sexual experiences I sought out and wanted, and that honestly did help, because many of them were really fucking fun. I honestly think it was an important aspect of recovery for me. Because I'm a pretty highly sexual person naturally, and I just thought HELL NO I WILL NOT let my abusers take that away from me. I fought for my "yes."
