The Pushing Daisies aesthetic, where everything is colorful and brightly-lit and borderline twee, except there are murders & terrible secrets lurking beneath the candy-coated veneer.

I would love a scifi or fantasy tv show that was like this. Just totally actually dark but with a veneer of happy, colorful, saccharine.
