not religious but its public holidays so I'll take it.
i hate the offical ban on public "fun" events on friday tho.

baking on saturday for brunch with friends on sunday and easter monday is my holiday shift at work

We celebrate. We do church Easter morning and then we do a big family meal. Not sure what we're doing this year. Oh, and we always get chocolate bunnies from my mom. Last year I got a white chocolate one and probably will this year.

I definitely don't get time off - in fact the opposite, it's the absolute busiest time of our year at work.

Stuff like Easter does kind of make me miss being religious, because there is something really nice about the service, and the message of rebirth and life, and also just the feeling of going to church in your nice clothes with everyone, it's very communal.

I'm Christian AND a bunny fan, plus the violets are blooming along the trails where I walk, so uh... this is the best time of the year for me.

Half price chocolate doesn't hurt either. I picked up some limited edition Lindor truffles on sale already when I went shopping the other day... finally got to try the blueberries and cream after wanting to since last year... but last year I didn't dare go into a store.

But this year, maybe not only half-price chocolate but super cheap bunny stuff on clearance. :D
