There are very few pairings I would have liked to see become canon, but Sterek was one of them (once Stiles reached 18). I just don't think it would have been outside of the show's format. The whole show ran on teen and relationship drama.

100% The show had already shown they didn't mind having gay characters and had laid the groundwork for Stiles possible being bi, I would have stuck around for that lol.

I'd have loved to see Jaime/Brienne in any way other than what we got on screen. -__-

In a different vein, I wish there were more fics of Sansa paired with other characters. I've read all the Sansa/Jon I care for and don't like Sansa/Sandor and HATE Sansa/Petyr.

The way Jaime/Brienne played out was a goddamn travesty.

It was such shit. From the way Jaime left her to the way he died without killing Cersei to the way they both died because they couldn't move over 5 steps to the left.

Agreed. They really deserved so much better (well, so did the rest of the season, but y'know). We long expected some kind of bittersweet ending (one or both of them possibly dying, for instance) but this was just bitter.

I wanna see more Ranma/Ryouga fics.

Hiei/Kuwabara is my default answer for general shipping. It has been thirty years and there is still way too little porn for such an aggressively powerful couple.

Also I desire more heterosexual monsterfuck content where female monsters are VERY monstrous with no human attributes, that is to say content featuring good looking men being ravaged by Eldritch horrors.

Lithuania/Canada has been my Hetalia OTP since forever and I’ve seen maybe three fanarts featuring them.

Steve/Bucky. They did those characters dirty in the last movies. And as much as I shipped them, I don't even mean romantic but they should have had a relationship beyond just a shoulder clap.

Same here! It almost felt, I don't know, spiteful in a way? Although I don't think that was what was intended.

At any rate, I ship them hard and would love to have more content for them whether it's romantically shippy or not.

I'm not even fannish about Stucky and I still know what you mean. I think when creators become aware of a ship that is not in line with their authorial intent, they will often start avoiding writing anything that could potentially be construed as supporting said ship. It's like they start trying to subtly (or not so subtly) corral viewers into seeing the text the way they want them to. :/

I think you're right. I think some showrunners and writers get very uncomfortable about interpretations of their work (mostly m/m or f/f). I don't expect them to chage their story to suit fans (and holy hell, some fans can be very entitled) but I do sometimes wish they could be a little more laid-back about fans shipping what they like. I really, really miss the fourth wall.

The same ship as usual. *sighs longingly at userpic* I'm kinda tired of just reading my own fanfics. Good thing I managed to get reinterested in a fandom that's only half as old and a ship that's the juggernaut.
