I hadn't considered the whole "Megumi is kinda destined to grow up to be the only person who could measure up to Gojo's OPness" angle and yeah, it's pretty interesting and romantic!
The it's lonely at the top trope is part of the appeal of Sukuna/Megumi for some people, but it makes ever more sense with Gojo.

Gojo even says this to him (chapter 117 iirc)- something about the last time there were both a limitless/six eyes user and a ten shadows user at the same time, they ended up killing each other - as a way to imply "you are stronger than you think" I believe.
And yeah, while I don't personally ship it, I can totally get Sukuna/Megumi as well based on that. They also have some really cool doujinshi haha

OH YEAH I remember that thing! Man, a love story maybe bound to end tragically. Beautiful! Hope you have the best of time with this ship.

Sukuna/Megumi have the best doujinshi in jjk IMHO. I don't ship them because... I don't. In the past that ship'd be up in my alley, but somehow it didn't really click with me. I just really really envy all their beautiful angsty doujinshi.
