I...don't think I disagree with you. As much as I love the pairing, the speculative fandom around S/P is perfect as it is.

Given how *long* I waited for that kiss for DW fandom... I think I'll let it slide for this pairing. Sometimes they make you suffer hell before you actually get to see it.

I so feel the exact same way.... I'm afraid of what might happen, that it might be ruined if the writers attempt it (and especially attempt it for the wrong reasons at the wrong time in a poorly thought out way), but at the same time I very much want to see it all on screen, to see it happen with the characters and actors in all it's glory! But then, what if it's not so glorious!! But it still be a dream come true!!!! BUT-BUT--AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! *starts pulling hair out* DX

Ah well, at the very least, our fandom is just the best thing since sliced bread isn't it! =D GROUP HUG PEOPLE! lol

I must agree.
It's like House. I loved the idea of Cuddy/House until I saw the writers start to sink their teeth into it and it felt all *ruined*
