The Internet is full of "sick perverts" (see: non-con fans, incest fans, shota fans, etc, etc, etc), so why the fuck is it only cool to hate on furries? Jesus Christ, all I get out of this is that the haters are so desperate to find someone less cool than them that they'll latch onto the first acceptable target they can find in order to fit in. And no, I'm not a furry myself, but I somehow manage to accept that others have kinks that I find fucking weird and let them enjoy them.

Seems to also come from the weird equation of "furry pronz = bestiality".

PROTIP: If all participants are sapient, it's not bestiality. The whole problem with humans screwing non-humans* is the power-play issue caused by a lack of meaningful consent from non-sapient beings. Captain Kirk with his love of the hot alien babes is the biggest fucking bestialist in television history if enjoying furry porn is the same as wanting to screw non-humans.

*With the possible exceptions of some dolphins, elephants, and some other great apes, and also possibly African grey parrots but the size difference would introduce many other problems
