162. Ianto is marginally more awesome in season 2, marginally meaning he cries just as much but has some witty lines to try and balance the scales. That said, only Tosh is awesome.

IAWTC! Tosh is the best!

Tosh was the only competent member of the entire time, trufuckingfax.

Toshiko was the ONLY reason I kept watching. Well, and Rhys. And Gwen's cop dude friend from the pilot and like...two other episodes.

But I was mostly cringing the whole time I was watching it. And when I heard what happened to Tosh I just stopped downloading.

Tosh and Rhys, trufuckingfax. Torchwood is horrible, no doubt about it, but at least Tosh was a bamf. Did you see that episode "Meat" wherein they discover people have been cutting up this giant seal/alien thing because it just keeps producing more meat? If you have, you know that Rhys DOES TORCHWOOD'S JOB BETTER THAN TORCHWOOD. If you haven't, it was awful, and either way it probably won't surprise you to learn that Rhys does Torchwood's job better than Torchwood.

Tosh even saves their asses posthumously in Journey's End, so basically they're fucked now. Oh, Torchwood.

Yes to both episodes -- and I remember the Adam episode where he deleted Gwen's memories of Rhys to make room for himself, and I WAS SO VERY CLOSE TO SHIPPING RHYS/JACK THEN, but then Rhys made me love Gwen (and fall in love with him even more) with statements like "you're my best friend," "I always thought you settled for me," and the supermarket. &hearts

It also gave me dirty Tosh = HOT. Course I think she's always hot. Stupid writers with their 'Toshiko can't have sex with anyone and have them still be alive in a week, or be happy, period' rule. And the crap she got. If she'd turned bad, they'd have been SO SCREWED. ...damn, Torchwood IS so fucking screwed. I hear ZERO word of the writers pulling a Buffy and bringing her back, and that's the only thing that would get me watching.

ROFL, Meat. AKA: 'This is totally not a subliminal message about cruelty to whales. Even though it looks like a whale and NOTHING like a cow, it was not an attempt to rip off what happens in society. LOL, you thought TW was that deep?' Rhys should've automatically gotten recruited; his mad skillz proved so superior to not even get detected by JACK. And his BSing skills were awesome. Jack was crushing hard, since the 180 on 'relationships are bad' after meeting Rhys, he started pushing way hard for it. I wanted them to watch football or something together. And the BEST about Rhys... Rhys didn't have to be in shape, or pretty, or have some special ability to be COMPLETELY AWESOME. He was just himself. If Torchwood had been Rhy/Tosh/Jack all the time even just, uh, fence painting, I'd watch it. 8D
