I just don't like anyone else than Hemsworth as MCU Thor and after what they did to his character, I hop this movie flops like a dead fish.

I'm just glad they didn't go the comics-verse route with Thor in Civil War.

That’s petty to wish that the movie flops just because it’s going in a direction you don’t like. I understand not being happy about what they did to Thor’s character in later movies, I agree with that. And I also understand preferring Hemsworth as Thor, even though I don’t mind other people playing the character, as I’m used to the concept as a comic fan. But wanting the movie to fail just because of those reasons? That’s ridiculous. His character being mishandled isn’t reason enough to want to see it fail, especially because there’s a possibility for him to be salvaged in Love and Thunder.

And Portman could do a good job. I don’t think Jane was all that good in the movies she was in, but Portman is a talented actress with the right material, so I wouldn’t count her out. Again, it’s still fine to not like anyone else but Hemsworth being Thor, no matter who the new actor is, and how well they do(or possibly don’t do). It’s just rooting for it to flop because of these reasons that I don’t get.

Also, you can ignore me and this pedantic af comment, but dead fish don’t flop. Dying fish do, but they’re completely still once they’re actually dead. So you kinda accidentally said you don’t want it to flop by saying you want it to flop like something that doesn’t.
