Unless you don't wash your hands after handling your pet/their waste, you won't get their parasites except maybe fleas/ticks, and you should treat for those anyway.

Are you also disinfecting every surface in your house that your outdoor cat has touched when you’re not looking with an appropriate antiparasitic? If not, enjoy your game of roundworm roulette.
