Is this really a "red flag" or just a flag that you in particular won't like it. Bc tbh I can't see why a fandom full of AUs means something morally bad about them?

NAYRT The original question doesn't mention their morality. Or do we have to weigh everything on it's supposed 'morality' from our own imagined moral high grounds these days? And only dare pronounce something as 'not great' if they're found lacking?

Calm down, that’s not what they meant. They most likely thought the question had to do more with red flags that most would agree with, instead of personal bad time red flags. So seeing a red flag that’s purely opinion based like “fic is mostly AUs” probably seemed odd. This same disconnect happened with another comment that said their personal red flags were someone with strong opinions on Captain Marvel and the Depp/Heard trial, and had someone who similarly misinterpreted the question be a bit snotty and say along the lines of “any strong opinions, or just ones disagreeing with you?”. (If that was AYRT that asked that, I’m sorry for calling you snotty, but it kind of is to tell someone the only reason they have a personal red flag is because they can’t stand hearing different opinions, whether that’s what you meant by that or not.)

And to be fair, red flag typically means something is bad news in general, not just something that one person doesn’t like. So I understand why AYRT misinterpreted that question, which wasn’t necessarily as broad as that. There’s no reason for that you to go so over the top with your spieling.
