It is supposed to storm here so tomorrow will probably be me stuck inside crocheting while listening to podcasts. Sunday I have some more plants to get into the ground!

What are you all doing this weekend?

I'm currently at a legal conference. We have a mock trial tomorrow starting at 8:30, so nervous about that.

After that, I'll come back to the hotel and probably take a long nap. Maybe try out the pool. I start the drive back home on Sunday.

Oh boy, I hope you don't get this awful weather!

Just found out there are supposed to be tornadoes Monday, so now I'm going to try to do the whole 9 hour drive tomorrow.

Hopefully getting over vaccine side effects so I can actually do ANYTHING without great effort. This afternoon has basically just been lying flat in bed and having to psyche myself up for half an hour to do so much as roll over.

I mean on the bright side I expected this and made no plans to do anything this weekend except wait for it to pass.

Is this the covid booster?

Nope, second shot. Hoping that somehow people will have gotten this under control by the time I'm eligible for a booster 6 months from now, because while I've been relieved that the side effects are within the "normal" range instead of my body doing something crazy with it, I really do not enjoy this. -_-

Accomplishing some more mild housecleaning chores, making a COVID booster shot appointment, finishing Heartstopper (it's okay; I'm a bit too old for slow-burn high-school-crush TV.), and reading (nothing fandom).

I hope your vaccine side effects are mild.

Thank you! Side effects should be non-existent (unless there's something I don't know about). I had no problems whatsoever with the first 2 doses.

Staying close to home because it's graduation weekend for two big colleges in town.

That sucks! Hope no one causes trouble in the area.

After playing Cinders I'm *very* hungry for more VNs in a similar vein, so much so I might cave in after work and buy Akash: Path of the Five.

Tomorrow is Indie Bookstore Day. I haven't been able to participate in this for years because covid. I'm going to spend all day tomorrow bookstore hopping and I can hardly wait.

Huh. I didn't know that was a thing. Sad I don't got any bookstores near me. :(
