Oh, I feel you.

For the past year or so I've been into a rare pair that's part of a massive fandom. Their tag on AO3 has about 150 fics, and their '&' tag about 100. Of course, if you only count the fics where they're the focus, that are finished, in English, etc, it amounts to a handful.

And yet. So obsessed.

I wonder if the lack of content isn't what lets the obsession thrive? Fellow shippers can't turn you off a ship if there are no fellow shippers.

I love it too, and have mixed feelings on this new season/reboot. They'd better have a brilliant plan, because I'm not sure they can top that finale.

I'm currently playing Tales of Arise and there's like 7 pages of fic on AO3 and some of them aren't even written in a language I can read.

I'm really enjoying the game and I'm really desperate for fic. Even mediocre fic. Even slash fic, which don't even make sense because it's like the straightest game I've ever played.

If they decide to make something new out of it, I would prefer it was a one movie/or two long episodes or something. It definitely is good as it's.

When I get into rare pairs, I often get an itch to contribute at least one fic. Not to say you should OP! But whenever I do a few new fics usually pop up, so I'd like to think if my fics aren't great, at least they inspired more writers to write their own versions!!! I don't even care if they're "good", just grateful for more fics!

The only reason I can come up with is that real people suffered, which would change the tone a bit from a normal horror movie. But, taking that into consideration, it would be really cool to see a movie about Vlad the Impaler.
