That's great, OP. I'm glad you didn't do anything bad with the information. And as long as the celeb in question doesn't care who has their personal info, it doesn't sound like any harm was done.

It's still creepy and stalker behavior and shouldn't be encouraged.

Agreed. It just feels like an invasion of privacy. My sister Googled herself and said she finds it creepy that her name and address were listed somewhere public.

This kind of easy access to private info is scary. I think of people who have been in abusive relationships/people with trauma. Control and trust is a big thing, and seeing one's private information being invaded can be terrifying (and in abuse victims cases it can be a matter of safety/life or death).

Not saying a lot of people do this or that I look down on people's curiosities, but knowing the ease of access is there, abusers can see the opportunity to reinsert themselves into their victims' lives.
