Have you tried gargling warm salt water? Sometimes that helps. I also recommend going to a doctor if it continues or gets worse.

Sore throat is also a symptom of covid; I didn't cough I just had a sore throat and exhaustion. But also strep used to kill people before we had antibiotics so if you don't get better in a few days I hope you are able to seek medical attention. I hope you heal soon!

I was in contact with someone with strep so I think it is that. But I will go up doctor to confirm if it doesn't get better.

Ugh, I'm sorry, that sucks. I hope it clears up soon. It's good you've already said you'll go to the doctor if it doesn't, because I think that's the one that forms a gross membrane blocking the throat if it's not treated.
