No, they’re not. Someone pointing out someone is an asshole doesn’t mean they’re saying they can’t have opinions, just that they’re acting like an asshole about them. OP could have phrased their secret better, and people would have had no reason to call them an asshole, because there’s nothing inherently wrong with their opinion. But they chose to act like an asshole about it, so ayrt is calling a spade a spade.

You being disingenuous about what ayrt is trying to say doesn’t make you look very good either, so I could easily keep this chain going and say you look like just as much of an asshole as you think ayrt is. And then you, or possibly someone else, would say the same about me, and it may never end. But even if that happens and it just becomes a never ending chain of everyone calling everyone else an asshole, that doesn’t mean ayrt was wrong. Because again, they never said anything about opinions, or that OP wasn’t allowed to have them. You extrapolated that from nowhere. It was obviously about OP’s attitude and choice of words.
