No? If I'm asking for recs that contain certain elements, I want recs for any stories with those elements. I don't care if the reccer found them or if they wrote them - if it meets the criteria I'm asking for, I want to know about it.

It's great that you get what you want. Not everybody uses recs that way though. Some are looking for the actual good stuff, for the fics that would have been recced everywhere on LJ. Kudos just doesn't seem to work the same.
