look, i'm no huge fan of pepper's, but let's not pretend that leslie bibb's character didn't demean her to her face. pepper was just biting back.

I’m no fan of Pepper’s either, but you’re completely correct. The fling looked down on Pepper without any reason except being a snob, and there was no provocation for her passive aggressiveness. Pepper might have been harsh when calling the fling trash, but she legitimately was just clapping back at rude and insulting behavior aimed at her.
