... because it's usually kind of boring.

I'm 100% there for watching badasses fall in love, hundreds of times, tho. Sometimes the smut can be good but it usually isn't. Sorry.

Some fandoms seem to have a lot of sex scenes written by people who have never had sex before or else they're speculating about types of sex they've never had and it all just seems to be either repeats of other tropes/scenes in Every Other Fanfic Ever or else it's just plain uncomfortable to read ("Oh, honey, no. That's a big old yeast infection waiting to happen.")
