Even when there's one ship I really love and want to see I like that there's a wide world of possibilities.

Yes :D! I'm like that, too - I've got my personal favorite pairings, definitely, but yeah, it can be fun sometimes to still play "what if" with other possibilities, too. If nothing else, that kind of experimentation can give me some new and interesting insights into the characters along the way.
