I've been seeing a lot of red and pink eyes in anime lately, with brown eyes belonging to Generic Protag (tm) mostly.

Ugh! Further proof I just need to watch this anime! Someone explained what it was about a few weeks ago (I was one of the anons who was asking about this show/art) and it's right up my alley!

Somehow he does have possibly the prettiest eyes on the show IMO, and he's not even supposed to be one of the pretty ones.

...But I may be biased because I just love everything else about him so I just want to look at him a lot. <3

Kotetsu is my favourite thing about T&B. It's just so nice to have an older person as a main character, and a single father as well!

Oh gosh yes. I will not spoil it since there are clearly some people in this thread who haven't seen season 2 yet, but the stuff in there between him and Kaede (and the rest of their family in the process) was just like... holy crap this show is so real despite the ridiculous premise, so well written and directed, and Hiroaki's voice acting is just perfect for Kotetsu's quiet moments as well as all the goofy moments.

It still cracks me up years later that the creators assumed the show would have no female fans because "Kotetsu isn't the kind of character girls like, the beard is the kiss of death for fangirls". ...Oops? :D

lol, I just made his S2 outfit in a rush for ACen... only for the schedule to be released with a Saturday night panel titled "Dilfology 101". I was like "...I can't be reading that correctly" but the description certainly backed it up.

I was like "...Well, I guess I know what I can wear to that panel."

(But uggggh yes. Stupid sexy Kotetsu and his stupid sexy suits.)

Oh gosh me too. I have been saying for awhile I have a "faildads collection", hahahahah. Laguna from FF8, then Phoenix Wright, then this guy shows up...

The con's next weekend, I'll have to report back on which "specimens" of this area of study are featured. =)

(And I have way too many userpics of him because 1: he really is nice to look at, 2: I used to RP him with my ex's Barnaby. Man, I miss that.)

I've been weirdly insecure about my brown eyes ever since I read The Giver 'cause it was implied that only people with light eyes could have that role. I don't even know why 'cause who the hell wants all the painful memories of the world, but yeah.

About eyes' colors, personally I just don't notice them at all. But on the secret itself, man I miss T&B craziness. I need time to rewatch it & start S2 ASAP :(

I've never looked into someone's eyes and thought "boring" sometimes "yikes you might want to get that hepatitis Q checked out" or "wow you smoke a lot of weed" but pretty much every eye color is lovely.

I know blue/green/gray get a lot of literary love but goddamn brown eyes are very nice. Dark, warm, expressive, good stuff.
