I’m just not a fan of dark comedies that involve a lot of onscreen death. Especially if it’s gory. At least with straight up horror I know how to anticipate these scenes so I can look away. But I find horror comedies, and general dark comedies with a lot of violence, a lot harder to predict. I know that’s the point, to keep the jokes unexpected, and thus funny. But I personally don’t find it funny to begin with. So I avoid things like that.
No hate or judgment to people who like these things though, I just have a low tolerance for this type of thing.
