11. You sure that's the one, true, way of pronouncing it...? I was told quite a few times that it was "yow-ee". It made sense to me at the time, because isn't ao pronounced like "ow" in Japanese?
Eh, well, whatever. Could be worse; I've heard people saying "yay-oh".

I'm trying to figure out how they're implying the 'right' way to say it is. Everyone I've ever spoken to who's used the word says it kind like, 'yow-ee' ... I've heard some people say 'yeow' which really is bizarre ... but god, I've been sitting here saying the word over and over and trying to figure out if it's 'right' or not.
