I feel like both Good Times and Jeffersons have a lot more class elements going on (scratching and surviving / moving on up) and it seems, again based on a single portion of one episode, that Desmond's has more of a hang-out-show type of vibe where it's just people in a community that's working class and urban, but not necessarily economically deprived. It felt closer to something like Cheers than any of the shows mentioned here, honestly.
