Oh, God, that bit pissed me off SO MUCH.

Though, I am planning on rereading Twilight with a different view, if I can get past the bad writing...if you look at it as a cliche damsel in distress story with a creepy romantic hero, it might actually be more interesting...(I went in looking for a cool story with a romance subplot...I got smacked in the face with Bella Swan's stupid instead)

Ignoring the eye-sores of adjectives, and just, as you said, bad writing, there are instead many lulz to be had (that Edward Scrapbook thing going around cracks me up) that's for sure. Fursploding. Alice. Rosalie's permanent PMS. And there's always the supporting cast in general. The fact that Steven King says Rowling and other literary works in general pwn Meyer >9000x over. Imagining Buffy and the Scoobies running into them at the ridiculous parts. Then there's that RPattz might have leaked Midnight Sun himself. Really, there's much joy to be had. Like a cream filled donut. HORRIBLE for you, but whatever. I liked the werewolf dynamics that were mostly in the background. And the scene where Seth makes Edward breakfast/Edward touches Seth's fursploded nose. I totally thought they were gonna get married instead. LULZ.

I didn't actually read all the books initially...I got to Eclipse and had to stop. But my favourite part was the background characters, which is sad 'cause SMeyer had like...no idea what to do with them
