Hey, so, random Q - but my mom's having her gall bladder removed. Anything to expect?

I had Laproscopic surgery, so it was very simple and easy (still considered a major surgery though.) I was out within a day.

The Doctors will say no fatty, fried, greasy food. That's the only dietary restriction they gave me.

I also had a hard time sitting up/standing up/sitting down for about a week or so after, so she may need help with that.

Both of my parents have their removed. Yeah, it's pretty fast thing with minimum of hospital stay. Major surgery still, but nothing that scary.
Diet is relatively simple. Also it seems better to eat often but with small portions or risk of spending too much time on a toilet. :'D
