I mean some people DO get people who ask if they can use OCs. Is it really that impossible for you to think people could POSSIBLY be invested in someone's characters?

Happens a lot with some YouTube artists. Some people do appreciate new characters.

I laugh at the ides that someone writing fanfic of someone else's creations would get protective of their own creations and not want anyone else to use them. It strikes me as ironic.
