And so internally I resisted that, but I also knew I was a girl. Like, it was important to me that I could still be a girl and be all the things that were me.
That's a big part of why I feel gender. As a reaction to being told I wasn't feminine enough and that there was something wrong with me.
I guess I don't think of gender as any particular traits or anything. Gender to me is a state of being. It is entirely personal. You are what gender you are, you know it inside yourself. I just am a woman, regardless of what traits I embody at any particular moment, I am a woman, though that is just one aspect of who I am.

I also didn't fit a lot of stereotypes, but to me it was more like..."I have a type of body that people associate with other behavior, but that is silly, and I will show them that's silly". But I also believe that no character trait is inherently gendered.
