Oooh somehow I haven’t seen anything about this but as a former fan of his: fuck him. He deserves to have everything blow up in his face.

My hatred comes from him claiming to be an atheist instead of properly admitting to being an antitheist. He’s so famous and such an insufferable outspoken religion-baiting twunt that it’s stirred up a lot of shit that gets heaped on normal everyday people who happen to be atheists. I had a particularly interesting confrontation during bell ringing practice once about five years ago and the only good thing that came out of it was two people in my diocese learned to differentiate between gasbags like Gervais and the rest of the world.
