I AGREE. I finished the series recently, and when I went looking for icons I noticed an apparent lack of Soul. :(

Seriously ;_; I needed as many Soul icons as possible, went back 300 entries in shibusen and gathered 10-20. I don't quite get it, he's all sorts of awesome himself.

I don't understand it myself actually. He's just as important in the series as of any other character--if not the main character. Well,...to me: I think of Maka and Soul both the main characters. And somehow...it's more about Stein and Kid. Not that they're not great also.


Just don't really understand the lack of love for him. Maybe it's because Soul is extremely quiet. At least in the anime--he is. He hardly speaks and he mostly just observes everything and does what Maka tells him to do unless it's something that he's really against.

Haha, yeah! Actually when I first started the series I loved Kid. Now a few days after having finished it I'm pretty sure Soul and Maka are my favorites. I love Kid and Stein too, but they don't quite have the...idk what that Maka and Soul do.

This is true, he kind of just stands there for a lot of the anime. But he's incredibly dedicated to protecting Maka and stuff ;__; Personally I think Soul is a much deeper character than Kid, for example.

I know fandom will kill me for this but I dislike Stein and Kid. They're just..not interesting to me at all. I find them..kinda boring. I tried to like them but..eeehhhh. Idk, they kinda get on my nerves.

I like manga!Soul a lot better. And I prefer the manga than the anime any day. The reason I continued to watch the anime was because well--the animation. I adore seeing characters come to life on the big screen. Or well--computer screen in this case. And I was curious how they were going to end the series.

Pfft, it's your opinion! There's no one I really dislike in Soul Eater, which is another reason I like the series a lot.

I noticed a difference, too! I caught up with the manga quickly after and he has a lot more personality in there. I was surprised that he actually called her tiny tits and stuff. XD It seemed a lot more than his anime version would ever had dared say. The anime's animation is amazing *__*
