Uhm...I'm pretty sure it's covered in the book, but yeah, it pretty much is. Once or twice, trying and hoping.,..yeah. Doesn't she try 6-7 times, and then freak when the one times she suceed, her baby has the genetic fault she knew it would have?

Getting pregnant when you know there's a very real, very abnormal reason your babies going to kick it is irresponsible and douche bag. She knew her babies were gonna die, and did it anyway. It's not like she didn't KNOW it was happening.

I never said she wasn't an irresponsible douche bag. I certainly don't agree with her choices, but I do understand that her intention was to bear a live child of her own, not to kill babies because she could. Many women prone to miscarriage keep trying against doctors orders knowing that most or all of the children could die. Or be born with horrible deformities. In RL, I wish more people would adopt. In this particular story, that's one less kid to be seriously fucked up by these people.
