And if it’s a show and the producers want to throw something new in, it’s important for the actors to establish boundaries. And if sex scenes are a no-go for the actor, they should have made that clear before they were cast. From what I know about the casting process, they were almost certainly asked if they’d be willing.
But if an actor is just flat out uncomfortable doing any of that stuff then they’re in the wrong profession. It is part of what they’re expected to be capable of doing and if they’re not, they need a new career.
