casino royale: left me thinking daniel craig would make a great jason bourne
quantum of solace: screwed by the writer's strike but even so a total mess
skyfall: yeah, everything was trying to copy the dark knight at this point, but at least it actually FELT like a bond film
spectre: realised that while everything thought they should be copying the dark knight they should really be copying the mcu, so they remade captain america 2 as a bond film; almost felt like they shoved a load of bond ideas into a computer and let it try and make a script out of them
no time to die: not one person involved with that movie gave the slightest impression that they wanted to be there, with the notable exception of ana de armas (who should be in all the things)
