My opinion is that people should try to support creators when it's possible for them to do so, and I think what that means can vary a lot.

I mean you realize that nobody can make you spend money on supporting creators, right? If you don't want to spend money, then nothing anyone says can change that, and if you don't feel guilty about it or care, then I don't understand the point of talking about it on a message board and then saying no one should reply to your posts.

NAYRT--I don't need to pirate books to read; between my local city library system and county system that together allow free fast (shipped in less than a week) access to most physical media (books, cds, dvds) from most libraries in my state and half of another state, plus two ebook and e-audiobook checkout services and the ones for comics and films, I would only need to pirate indie books if I was a selfish dickwad.

Plus most libraries around here sell paperbacks for a quarter and hardbacks for a dollar.

You wanna pirate shit? Stick to dead authors, Disney, James Patterson, and J.K. Rowling.

Or, you know, stop saying you don't care what strangers think of your pirating habits and then getting angry that people are mad at you, like having morals is only for people with money (which is bullshit, rich people get rich by exploiting others, and 99% of authors aren't rich.)
