I don't mean to be argumentative, but not everybody has easy access to libraries. The nearest library where I live is five miles away and closed three days a week and that was before Covid shut everything down. Now the library is open twice a week, and that's sporadically. Sometimes it doesn't open all week. I also have to take two buses to get there. Round trip that's minimum 3.50 for a day pass. There used to be a library closer, about a mile and half away, but it closed one day and never opened again.

I get your point about supporting authors and libraries, you are on the right side of it, but that doesn't mean it's always easy or affordable to do for everybody.

Libraries have electronic services where you can check out digital media without ever leaving home.

Some -- not all -- libraries. Just worth saying. I hope that AYRT has online library resources available, but they're not a given.

Inter-library loan systems also exist. I'm surprised that no one has mentioned that yet.
