This.
This is why I'm not advocating that everyone should pirate everything everytime. LOL why do you have do fall in this slippery slope fallacy?!

I'm just saying... when there are no other options available? GO AHEAD. And if you want to to check if a game runs before buying it and it has no demo? GO AHEAD. The company making the media is corrupted? GO AHEAD. There is no translation or legal copy available in your country? GO AHEAD. You simply want to save money? GO AHEAD. Piracy is actually your niche hobby and you like the sharing culture? GO AHEAD. You do just because you can? GO AHEAD.

Pirating is not morally bad or good. It just is.
Pirating is not THE PROBLEM in the industry and the monetary woes of indie artists. It can be sometimes, but most of the time piracy is irrelevant to the sales figures and it can actually boost visibility.

NA

Um, yes, piracy is morally bad. And illegal. It can sometimes be understandable, but that doesn't make it neutral. If entertainment is necessary, there is a lot of free fiction out there that the secret poster has access to as they have internet. Pirating is a problem that does contribute to the monetary woes. And maybe one person pirating isn't going to cause much difference, but it's not just one person, is it?
