Lately, Buck and Eddie from 911. The amount of homophobia in that fandom is something I've never seen in any other, and it's just exhausting so I haven't been paying attention to anything since the season ended, while with other shows I still do. I'll probably get sucked back in once the new season starts, though, unfortunately.

That is so weird to me that this fandom would be homophobic considering both the prime show and the spin-off have canon gay ships.

Yeah, it is weird. I've had discussions about it with people I know in person that watch the show, and none of us really understand why. I think with the main show, homophobes are less bothered with lesbians than gay men, and before Michael left, they weren't bothered by him because he was older. My theory is that the homophobia is coming from younger guys who identify with the "young, cool" male characters and are personally offended by the thought of them being gay or bi or whatever. And I've seen several of the ones that complain the most say they don't even watch LS because it's "too woke" with Muslim and trans characters.

I don't know, people are just idiots.
