Yes, I used to finish every book I started and then I realised life is too short for crappy books. So everything I finish would be at least 3 stars.

Same. Outgrowing the mentality that I have to finish every book was so freeing. And you can bet I wouldn't go to the trouble to review a mediocre book I never finished.

I do have the mentality of wanting to leave reviews for things I want to succeed, so most of my ratings would skew high.
