I had a job interview today and was asked a very simple question, but my mind went completely blank and I just opened and closed my mouth like a dying fish for a full thirty seconds.

Ughhhhh I hate it when that happens! There's one company I interviewed with where I specifically remember doing that and it just felt so brutal in the room.

OTOH that company is now out of business, so I feel like I kinda won that one over the long run.

It happens. I've been doing virtual interviews and they can be so awkward!
