I don’t think I agree with those reasons to hate Ami, honestly. The anon above me has good points. I personally have always liked Ami/Mercury least among the Sailor Senshi, though. The reasons are kinda stupid. One reason is that I always felt like she was overhyped by Sailor Moon fans. I get it, I was a shy bookworm to when I was a kid, so I can relate to her. But that’s not enough for me to gravitate towards her. But so many other people adore her and are very vocal about it. And it got tiring to me, especially back in the English speaking fandom’s heyday. So it lead to me not liking her as much as the rest by association, which I totally acknowledge isn’t fair. The other reason is that I didn’t like her hairstyle back in the day. I like it more now, but I thought it looked really dorky in some frames, and not in a good way. Like I said, my reasons for liking her the least out of the Senshi are kinda dumb.

I really like Katara, but it’s in spite of her problems. So I totally understand your reasons for disliking her, they’re valid.
