Sorry, are you actually implying that calling someone naive for saying "I bet all the factual stories about censorship and human rights violations in China are just fairytales" is too harsh? Because yes, I absolutely would tell someone irl they're full of shit if they said that to me, just like I'd tell that to someone who, for example, is a flat earther, anti-vaxxer or other conspiracy bullshit.
